The 7th National Phoenix Aralinks Quest, known as ShowcACE, recently took center stage, showcasing the talents of students in innovation, creativity, and modern skills with coding projects focused on global issues. Participants, ranging from primary to senior high school, presented both software-based and physical computing projects that aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
More than 100 entries from Aralinks schools across the country were judged based on creativity, impact, and technical skill. Among the notable achievements, SPUP’s Basic Education Unit (BEU) students, Ms. Margarette Vaunna Suemith and Mr. Pierre Bernard Solis (both Grade 3 learners) emerged victorious by winning the championship in the Primary-Software Category. Their project, “CHEWS WISELY” was distinguished for its innovation and meaningful contribution towards the realization of the SDGs. They were mentored by Ms. Mary Jane Abella and Ms. Rose Anne Blas (BEU Faculty).
The anticipation builds for the onsite expo and awards ceremony, which is scheduled for December 4, 2024, in Clark, Pampanga, where the most impressive projects will receive well-deserved recognition.
