In commemoration of Women’s Month 2025, an activity entitled EmpowHER: Breaking Barriers, Building Legacies was held on March 12, 2025 at the Mother Madeleine Hall, with the theme “Women as Drivers of Change and Models of Service”.
The event featured resource speakers representing women from various sectors—with Sr. Marisa Tumbali, SPC (Vice President for General and Administrative Services) for Women in the Church; Dr. Geraldine Ramirez (Dean, School of Medicine) for Women in Healthcare; Dr. Juvie Bacani (Faculty, School of Business, Accountancy, and Hospitality Management) for Women in Business and Entrepreneurship; and Dr. Pilar Acorda (CHED Education Supervisor) for Women in Education.
This event sought to empower Paulinians by providing them with role models who have made a difference in their fields—highlighting the pivotal role of women in inspiring inidividuals to transcend barriers and build their own legacies.
The activity is spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs – The Paulinian Student Government in collaboration with World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI) – Philippines Chapter, SPUP Alumni Association, Inc., and the Center for Alumni, External Relations, and Advocacies (CAERA).
